NEW DELHI - The government will attempt at a third round of discussion with the agitating students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Officials of Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry will talk to the students in an attempt to end the impasse, as the strike at FTII has been on for over 100 days.

While the students have been demanding Gajendra Chauhan's removal as the FTII council's chairman, the ministry has shown no signs of contemplating his removal.
