If you've ever wondered, while in a particularly contemplative frame of mind, what it would be like to have a penis made of gold, Guddu Ki Gun may just be your thing.
Starring Kunal Khemu, Sumeet Vyas, Brijendra Kala, Jameel Khan, and debutant Payel Sarkar, this looks like a film that stoners might want to line up to watch. Its trailer, uploaded online on Monday, introduces us to Bihari boy Guddu (Khemu), a rakish playboy who doesn't discriminate between women who are unmarried and married when it comes to having a fling. He's supposedly well-endowed and even has a name for his, err, equipment: Laddoo (probably because it rhymes with his name). However, a supernatural act supposedly turns Laddoo from flesh to gold and Guddu must now find out why this is happening to him.
The film, directed by duo Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand (they previously wrote the 2013 psychological thriller Table No. 21), releases in theatres on October 30. Going by the trailer, it appears to be a full-fledged slapstick comedy, replete with cringeworthy, double-meaning lines such as "Hamaare man power ko golden tower banane waale... aap hain?"
