Aside from being one of Hindi cinema's biggest stars, Akshay Kumar is also perhaps one of the fittest men in the business.

Which is why it would make sense to expect him to nail the viral 'Dizzy Goals' challenge — already being called the new 'ALS Ice Bucket Challenge' — that is being spearheaded around the world by the charity Global Goals. The challenge, which started in August, involves circling around a football at least 13 times so that you get dizzy and then, in that state, attempting to score a penalty in an open goal.

However, Kumar attempted the challenge twice and collapsed in a heap both times, once while on tour in the United States in August and the second time more recently, while in Italy shooting for Housefull 3. He was unable to get the ball inside the net both times.

Kick-started by football stars such as Real Madrid forward/winger Gareth Bale and former English footballer-turned-commentator Gary Lineker, the campaign attempts to raise awareness about three major goals that will be discussed at the United Nations summit — to be held from September 25 in New York, United States — which are: end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and fix climate change by 2030.

According to the charity's website, "If the goals are famous, they won’t be forgotten."

Well, Kumar may not have succeeded in scoring the goal, but he sure got our attention. Kudos for that, surely.
