NIA Issues Sketches Of Pakistan Terror Suspect Naved's Accomplices

NEW DELHI -- The National Investigation Agency has released sketches of two alleged LeT terrorists, who apparently infiltrated India's border with Pakistan. They accompanied Pakistani terror suspect Mohammad Naved Yakub, the NIA has alleged. Yakub was captured during the Udhampur attack, while his alleged accomplice was shot down.

"These accused persons are accomplices of Mohammed Naved alias Usma who was caught alive and accused of attacking a BSF convoy in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2015," officials of the NIA said.

"They have crossed over into the Indian territory with the intention to commit terrorist attack. They are wanted in NIA case."

The national investigation agency has also announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone providing information leading to their arrest. The accused due have been identified as Zarghan alias Mohammed Bhai aged about 38-40 years and Abu Okasha aged about 17-18 years.

The NIA has also promised to protect anyone who comes forward with information on these alleged terrorists, and the identities of such people will be kept secret, they said.

Naved was the caught after the Udhampur attack in which two BSF personnel were killed.
