9 Most Prominent Indian-Americans In Silicon Valley

Sundar Pichai's ascent to the top of Google as part of a sweeping restructuring of the company has placed him in an elite group of Indian-Americans who hold top positions in Silicon Valley.

Pichai will still report to Larry Page, who will now be the CEO of Alphabet Inc., the new parent company of Google. Co-founder Sergey Brin will be its president. Google, set to be trimmed down, will thus become Alphabet's biggest subsidiary.

Pichai aside, here are 9 other Indian-Americans who have had considerable impact in the Valley as CEOs, investors or founders.
