Over time, popular Disney princesses have been cast into plenty of new roles to relate to modern women -- as plus sizes, having realistic bodies, shorter hair, acid victims and much more.
But what would they look like as real people?
In 2011, 25-year-old Finnish graphic designer Jirka Vinse decided to address this thought: "I randomly thought I'd have a little fun with Photoshop to explore what the character of Ursula from The Little Mermaid could look like in real life," said Vinse in an interview with Huff Post India.
"Having grown up with a lot of these characters, the sense of nostalgia made it such a fascinating and a fun personal project to explore and carry on with. Also, I have always been interested in character design, as well as the way people look and what makes them unique in their appearances. So I was inspired by the idea of recreating these characters that we all know and love, in a way I would imagine them to look like if they were "more real," while still staying somewhat true to theunrealistic quirks in their original character designs.
Vinse continues to add to the collection ever since and has received a lot of attention. In fact, it was only six months ago that Vinse decided to add male characters to the series, and also revealed that each character takes approximately 8 hours to make (they are never finished in one go).
