Baahubali: The Beginning is most definitely not in any danger of breaking director S.S. Rajamouli's unbroken streak of back-to-back hits. His larger-than-life mythological epic has garnered glowing reviews for its scale, visual effects, and battle scenes (read our review here).

While its final worldwide numbers are yet to be confirmed, an India Today report suggests that the Prabhas starrer has raked in a staggering Rs 160 crore at the box-office worldwide, in just three days.

On Saturday, it became the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 100 mark worldwide, as per a tweet by trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai.

#Baahubali becomes fastest Indian film to cross Rs 100 Crores Worldwide, in 2 days. Phenomenal! Congrats @ssrajamouli@Shobu_ & all others

Meanwhile, according to Bollywood trade pundit Taran Adarsh, the film's dubbed Hindi version alone has made Rs 22.35 crore over the weekend.

#Baahubali [dubbed Hindi version] has an INCREDIBLE weekend. Fri 5.15 cr, Sat 7.09 cr, Sun 10.11 cr. Total: ₹ 22.35 cr. India biz. FABULOUS!

Reportedly India's most expensive movie ever, Baahubali: The Beginning has sparked unprecedented fan frenzy, leading to a record opening day collection of Rs 50 crore. It is not showing any signs of slowing down either.

#Baahubali passes the Monday Noon-Show test in Tamil Nadu. Holding very well. @ThenandalFilms Murali has another big winner.

And this is what filmmaker Karan Johar, who made sure his company Dharma Productions came on-board as producer to distribute the film to a wider audience, had to say about its stupendous success.

#Baahubali SHATTERS all box office records and emerges as the highest opener ever!!!!!!! Record day 1 even for a dubbed film...phenomenal!!
