WATCH: A 360-Degree Music Video For Fort Minor's New Track 'Welcome'

This 360-Degree Music Video Of Fort Minor's First Song In Ten Years Is Epic

Fort Minor, the hip-hop project of Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda, is back with a new single after a 10-year hiatus. On Monday, Shinoda tweeted out the video for their new single, 'Welcome'. However, perhaps the most exciting thing about this development (especially for those who may not be hardcore Fort Minor fans) is the unique 360-degree music video for the song that allows viewers to manipulate the camera while the video is playing.

Produced by Los Angeles-based The Uprising Creative, the video was shot with four GoPro cameras at LA's iconic Venice Beach. The 360-degree, virtual reality functionality is supported only by Google Chrome and the YouTube mobile app.

Watch the video, which largely features Shinoda rapping while painting a 50-ft mural, and manipulate the camera by using either your mouse (click and drag) or the keys 'W', 'A', 'S', and 'D' on your keyboard. If watching it on a mobile phone, simply spin the camera around as though you were shooting the video yourself.
