These Bollywood Stars Had Something To Say About International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was enthusiastically celebrated all across India this morning, and the Bollywood fraternity wasted no time in showing their support for yoga and its benefits. Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was leading the yoga celebrations at Rajpath, stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Shilpa Shetty tweeted out their support for the event and the day, now officially recognised by the United Nations.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first to send out an interesting upside-down message:

Hema Malini sent out a message saying she hoped everyone was attempting at least some asanas as the PM had requested.

Meanwhile Shilpa Shetty (who has also launched fitness cds) was in Bengaluru promoting the event, and performing for Yoga Day. She sent out several tweets with photographs of herself in different poses as well.
