Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her second appearance at Cannes in a gorgeous maroon Oscar de la Renta strapless gown for the unveiling of her film 'Jazbaa'. The actress made a striking statement: she stuck to her loose waves, and topped the entire look off with a matching lipstick and minimal bling.
The actress who had been in a rather mischievous mood during her first day at Cannes — she flouted the unofficial selfie ban, and even photobombed a pic — also released a short video just before she left for the event, talking about how excited she was to attend #HackTheCannes.

Her film 'Jazbaa' was showcased aboard the Lady Jersey Boat yesterday. It also marks Aishwarya's comeback to Bollywood after four years - her last film was 'Guzaarish' in 2010.

So far the Indian fashion scene at Cannes has been less than encouraging. Sonam Kapoor's yellow Elie Saab gown was compared to a lot of things on Monday.
Ash seems to also have played it safe this year.
