It would be safe to presume that Anurag Kashyap has had a rough weekend. His latest big-budget outing, 'Bombay Velvet', has been savaged by audiences and critics alike and is being called a 'disaster' by trade analysts.

On Sunday, Kashyap, who hadn't reacted to the stinging criticism against the film all weekend, spoke out via a long Facebook post that got shared by several people.

Admitting that experimenting with the narrative of the film hadn't worked for many and had for some, he asserted that he still believed in the film. "This is the film i wanted to make and i am glad i got to make it. I am very happy that all those who have been part of this journey firmly stand with it. No i am not depressed or hiding, this has taught us a lot and is my absolute personal favourite, there have been no regrets whatsoever," he wrote.

A recent India Today cover story reveals that Kashyap plans to realise a long-pending plan of moving to France. In his post, he elaborated that no matter where he goes, he will always continue making films.
