Fly Mobiles, the UK-based mobile phone brand launched the Fly Snap in collaboration with e-commerce retailer Snapdeal.com.

Priced at Rs. 2,999, the affordable Android smartphone has a 4-inch (800x480 pixels)WVGA IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and a 2 megapixel camera for selfies.

The Fly Snap is a dual SIM phone, with 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage, with a microSD expansion slot that supports cards upto 16 GB. The phone is powered by a 1,500mAh Li-ion battery, runs Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat and supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

Apt for those who are looking for a smartphone in the budget of a feature phone, the Fly Snap will compete against other sub 5,000 rupee phones from like the Karbonn Smart A29, Intex Aqua Y2, and the Panasonic T40.
