They were frenemies in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion' (2008), but Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut are buddies IRL. Now, to top it off, the two have both won a National Award this year — Chopra for 'Mary Kom' (it won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment) and Ranaut for 'Queen' (she won Best Actress). Moreover, in 2009, Chopra had won the Best Actress award for 'Fashion'.

To celebrate this tradition of winning awards, the two friends are throwing a party at Ranaut's at her house in Khar, according to a report in HT Café.

The report quotes an unnamed insider as saying, "Arrangements have already been made. The actors are personally looking into the details, including the decor, food and drinks. The idea was to celebrate with an intimate group of people."

The cast and crew of both films is likely to attend, as is filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. What's more, boxer Mary Kom, whose life the film is based on, and her husband K Onler Kom are also expected.
