Here's a quick masterclass with the indisputable King of Bollywood dancing - Govinda! While there are others who have earned the reputation of being good dancers (think Jatinder, Dharam paji, Hritik and Mithun Da), there's nobody who can add that extra oomph to the Bollywood jhatka quite like Govinda. His unique blend of entertaining expressions and almost-but-not-quite-sleazy gyrations have served many a valuable dance lesson for the actresses of the 90s (Let's face it, Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon have never had better dance partners).
While there is no dearth of timed shakes, jerks and pelvic thrusts in almost every Govinda-starred song, this video holds a special place in every fan's heart, probably because almost every frame has one dance move you can pick right up, and employ even today. Sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, 'Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye' from the 1998 film 'Bade Miya, Chote Miya' has been charmingly choreographed by Beena Kurane to win over even the most discerning Govinda critic. We wouldn't recommend breaking these moves out at your annual office party, but there's not a bachelor party or wedding baraat complete without them for sure!
