Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that terror outfit Islamic State, which has attracted radical young people from developed countries, has had negligible impact on India's youth.

I am happy to note that the influence of Islamic State on the Indian youth is negligible :HM

Just a handful of Indian youth have joined the ISIS. Some have also returned after being persuaded by their families : HM

The Islamic State—also know as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS- has a sophisticated social media propaganda strategy. It has reached out actively to Muslim youth in countries from France and Britain to the United States to join its growing crop of recruits who believe in a savage version of Islam. There were reports that it has been trying to make inroads in India.

Singh said that the main reason IS has not been able to influence Indian Muslims is their integration in society. He was speaking during the inaugural session of International Counter Terrorism Conference in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Singh also focussed on terror groups across the border in Pakistan, and said that there are no 'good terrorists'.
