SYDNEY - J.P. Duminy took a hat-trick and Imran Tahir snared 4-26 as South Africa's spinners combined to ruin Sri Lanka's innings after the fast bowlers took out the openers cheaply in Wednesday's World Cup quarterfinal at Sydney Cricket Ground.

After winning the toss and batting, Sri Lanka was all out for 133 in in 37.2 overs, having lost four wickets for two runs in nine balls to spiral from 114-4 in the 33rd over to 118-8.

Kumar Sangakkara (45) was forced onto the attack and his run of consecutive centuries ended at four when he was caught near the boundary off Morne Morkel's bowling to make the total 127-9 not long after play was disrupted by a spectator running onto the field.
