Delhi Polls: Over 5 Percent Votes Cast In First Hour

NEW DELHI: Over five percent votes were cast in the first hour after balloting began in the Delhi assembly polls at 8 a.m. Saturday, the authorities said.

According to Delhi election commission, 5.40 percent votes were polled till 9 a.m.

Over 13 million people are expected to vote on Saturday in 11,763 polling stations across the capital.
