Unveiled at CES 2015 last week, Lenovo has launched the A6000, their cheapest 4G phone in India today.

The phone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart on the flash sale model. The phone has already been listed, registrations will commence today at 6 PM, and end on January 27th. Registered users will be able to buy the phone on January 28 starting at 2 pm.

The A6000 sports a 5-inch IPS capacitive screen, quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory. It has an 8-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports two Micro-SIM cards on dual stand-by mode. The phone has a 2300 mAh battery and two speakers with Dolby Digital Plus sound.

The A6000 will compete against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G and the Yu Yureka from Micromax. A few days ago, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing had revealed plans of starting a new device unit called ‘Shenqi’, which would sell smartphones and Internet-connected devices on an online-only direct-to-consumer business model.
