Nand Kishor Beniwal, a politician with Aam Aadmi Party, won a seat in the Delhi cantonment elections today, and then landed in controversy when a video appeared to show his supporters throw currency notes in the air to celebrate his victory.

Party leader Ashutosh said he had requested for a report on the incident.
