Imran Khan's marriage to Reham Khan, 41-year-old former BBC weather reporter, was shrouded in mystery until the cricketer-turned-politician went public with their union, this week.

"I am going to Pakistan to share good news about my marriage with the nation. I have nothing to hide," Khan, 62, said earlier this week.

Khan was previously married to Jemima Goldsmith Khan. They divorced in 2004.

The Daily Mail reported that Khan's marriage to Reham provoked a hostile reaction in Pakistan, online and from his own family.
