India Names Cricket World Cup Squad: Yuvraj Singh Dropped

India's Cricket board has announced the country's squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup that will begin in February in Australia and New Zealand. Here is the official statement from the board. Yuvraj Singh, the hero of the previous World Cup that India won, has been omitted from the squad.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee met in Mumbai today and selected the Indian team for the Tri-series between India, Australia and England to be played in Australia from the 18th of January.

The Indian team for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to be played in Australia / New Zealand from February 2015 was simultaneously selected and is enclosed .

MS Dhoni (Captain), Virat Kohli (V Captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Stuart Binny, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Md. Shami, Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni.
