Aam Aadmi Party will be bringing their A-game in preparation for the forthcoming assembly elections in Delhi. After making #MufflerMan trend on social media, they’ve now released it as a game on Google Play.

Made by AAP volunteers, Muffler Man’s gameplay is similar to Doodle Jump, and is built using the Unity game engine. The first build was released for Android devices, iOS and Windows versions will be released soon.

The game uses platforms as visual metaphors — “If you land on some, you jump on a normal height. If you jump on other platforms, you tend to fall. Some give you a boost, others make you die. The regular platforms represent good governance and agendas that AAP is working on.. The platform that give you a high jump give you a big boost. That’s Janlokpal. The broken platforms are bribes, corruption.” says Mohit Ramani, Director, Digital Agents Interactive Private Limited.

Future updates to the app include an instruction page that will explain the mechanics, adding a donation link to the game. Backgrounds of the game will be localised, so that if you play the game in a particular city, you will see the locales of that city. According to Ramani the game has had over 3,500 downloads in the last 36 hours.
