Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it God? Is it Rajinikanth, who's a combination of all of those?

No - its Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, head of a religious sect known as the Dera Sacha Sauda, who, in his bid to dethrone every known macho man in cinema, has starred in a film ‘Messenger of God’ the trailer of which has crashed the Internet in this part of the world.

Singh refers to himself as Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insaan - adding the suffix 'human' after his name - but this trailer, which is a monument to his ego, does not feature any stunt that a human could possibly perform.

The controversial leader, known to entertain wildly cheering crowds under psychedelic lights in performances that resemble rock concerts, plays himself in the film.

The 47-year-old self proclaimed preacher from Haryana has thousands of devoted disciples and 54.2K followers on Twitter.

Singh is facing rape and murder charges. But that has not held him back from giving Bollywood heroes like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn a run for their money - the trailer of the film, posted on YouTube five days ago, already has over a million views.

The Dera chief allegedly convinced 400 of his followers to get castrated and is facing a CBI probe.

The self proclaimed ‘Braveheart Saint’ of India’s new film promises lots of one-man action that would put the likes of Chuck Norris and Rajinikanth to shame. He tosses burning cycles around, has a golden lion with wings as his steed and his wardrobe features every colour known to man.
