If we were sending a Thanksgiving telegram to our relatives about Chrissy Teigenβs latest Twitter clapbacks, it would simply read βTEIGEN TWEETS, LEAVES NO SURVIVORS.β
The supermodel and TV host went on Twitter to host a Thanksgiving Q&A, which quickly turned into a lesson on how to roast your haters. Some of her greatest comebacks were in response to trolls who still couldnβt get over Teigenβs American Music Awards dress, which featured two super-high slits.
βNo, your [sic] a woman, not a lady, a lady doesnβt speak like you do or dress that way,β a user who goes by @seanfromla tweeted, in reference to the dress and the wardrobe malfunction Teigen suffered because of the high slits.
βOh Sean, I wake up every day just wanting to please you, Iβm so sorry I disappointed you.β she said oozing sarcasm. βI β listen β I donβt know what I can say but, wow, I apologize. I didnβt mean it to happen. But sorry, Sean. Sorry.β
βCouldβve worn pants,β another Twitter user named Alivia tweeted at Teigen, in reference to her AMAs outfit. Big mistake. Huge.
βWelp, Alivia, hindsight is 20/20,β the model said via video. βJust like your mom when she named you with an βAβ instead of an βO.ββ
When another user decided to ask the completely unnecessary question, βIs the turkey youβre cooking bigger than your ass?β Teigen decided to rip them a new one.
βOnly some dumbass on Twitter could find a way to work in some kind of shitty comment about my ass into a Thanksgiving Q&A,β she said.βSo I appreciate that, it was very creative. Yes, it is bigger β it is 22 pounds.β
Thankfully, the cookbook author and seasoned Twitter vet has a clever way to make sure trolls donβt get away with the horrible things they say.
βWrite them back so they delete your accounts,β Teigen said. βHappens every time like clockwork, baby.β
Happy holidays!
