Sadhavi is one of the leading progressive voices that India has today. A passionate social activist and a political analyst, Sadhavi is running a campaign against Drug Abuse in Punjab.
In order to drive her campaign successfully, she studied Punjab exhaustively and witnessed the truth with her own eyes by visiting various villages in the state and conducting a thorough research about the real situation of the state. Shocked at the revelation of the drug abuse problem that has been slaying Punjab for the past many decades, she decided to create awareness about the same, which she did with her documentary on Punjab’s drug menace, named “Fading Glory – Punjab, Hope Not Lost”.
Her documentary which was highly appreciated by the media was released in Amritsar on 18th March’ 2016 by Congress Vice President- Sh. Rahul Gandhi and Punjab Congress President, Captain Amarinder Singh.
An ardent spokesperson who impels audiences to think about the downfall of Punjab, Sadhavi appears on national TV as a panelist and has talked over grave social issues on channels like Aaj Tak, CNBC-TV18 and NDTV.
Sadhavi is also an author who is in the thick of writing her book on Punjab’s downfall along with Ex- DGP of Punjab, KPS Gill. She has penned several incisive write-ups on different political and social issues of national importance. She maintains her own blog at www.sadhavikhosla.com and her writing has also been featured in leading online portals, including DailyO and Youth Ki Awaaz.
She is very active on social media and her Twitter handle (@sadhavi) has more than 28,000 followers, one of her key followers being the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi Ji.
Sadhavi was born and raised in Punjab. Today, she lives a few miles away in Gurgaon, Haryana. Besides being known for her zeal to stop Punjab’s imminent decline, Sadhavi is also an entrepreneur specializing in research and analytics and has founded a company, Research2Systems, headquartered at Gurgaon.
She possesses a blend of expertise with her strong background in sociology, marketing and advertising. She is a graduate in Arts from MCM DAV College, Chandigarh and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Advertising) from Punjab Tech University.
