Presently working at the grassroots level in Rajasthan.
I am Rajat Kumar, working with Mazdoor Kisaan Shakti Sanghthan (MKSS) in Rajasthan. I have studied Journalism from University of Delhi and have completed MA Development (with Law & Governance Specialization) from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru.
Presently, I am part of the Jawabdehi Yatra that is travelling across Rajasthan advocating for an accountability law in the state.
Issues pertaining to social, economic and political inequality provoke me to write as I feel that writing is an important tool to put forth one's views, ideas and share information. Also, as a person working in the field, I believe that blog is a robust medium to represent the voices of rural issues. I hope that Huffington India blog will appreciate my writings.
