Pooja is passionate about everything communications. Chatty, friendly and with over seven years of experience working with leading technology public relations agencies in India, she has worked on some of the top mandates with these agencies. She studied at Xavier’s Institute of Communications and finished their post-graduate diploma course in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Having lived, studied and worked in Mumbai for close to 5 years, Pooja decided to move back to her hometown, Pune with the intention of setting up a Pune office for her prior employer, Text100 Global Communications.

However, a couple of years down the line, Pooja discovered the satisfaction of working with smaller, local Pune-based outfits, and making a huge mark for these businesses through strategic communications. She decided to become self-employed, and took a step towards entrepreneurship.

With social media live on the scene, a ‘PR’ mindset has come handy for Pooja to help her clients achieve long-term results from planning out their online and offline communications.

PR V Advertising: Dawn Of Publicity

<em>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice</em> was one of the most anticipated movies of 2016, and rightly so. It's not every day that two superheroes feature in the same movie, let alone fight each other. So I thought I'd try to differentiate between PR and advertising using these characters as references.
