Taking no lessons from several cases involving the self-styled woman, the Vivek Vihar SHO, this Dussehra, accorded a warm welcome to controversial spiritual guru Radhe Maa at the police station.

In a photo tweeted by ANI, Radhe Maa can be seen sitting on the Station House Officer Sanjay Sharma's chair, while the officer can be seen standing beside with folded hands.

However, claiming that he was not honouring the guru, Sharma reportedly told the Hindustan Times, "She occupied my chair for barely a few minutes... I folded my hands and requested her to leave the office... She is a religious figure."

According to the report, Radhe Maa wanted to use the washroom at the police station, and therefore Sharma allowed her in. She was accompanied by her several disciples.

Well, Radhe Maa has a history with controversies. Recently in September, the Punjab and Haryana High Courts ordered FIRs against her after one Surender Mittal alleged that she had been threatening her over the phone with dire consequences if he spoke against her.

Her name also appeared in the list of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad's list of "fake" religious heads this year.

This comes at a time when country's many self-styled spiritual gurus have been named in severe criminal cases, latest being Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh, who has been put behind the bars for 20 years in two separate rape cases.
