In another case of what appears to be VIP bullying, the general manger of a PSU has alleged that he was assaulted by a BJP MP.

The Times of India reports that Lok Sabha MP from Moradabad, Thakur Sarvesh Singh, Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) assaulted general manager Ashok SN and his assistant Arun Mishra on Saturday.

This was during the preparation for an event where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was supposed to be present, and the reason for the assault was that Singh was not happy with the arrangements made.

The incident took place in Ratupura in Uttar Pradesh.

While the MP denied any such incident, Ashok SN told The Times of India, "The MP was drunk. He along with partymen hit me with shoes on my face. I have sought an appointment with the PM to register my complaint."

Ashok SN has submitted a written complaint with the police as well
