Xiaomi Launches Its First Indian Mi Home Store In Bengaluaru

Xiaomi unveiled it's first Mi Store in India on Thursday in the city of Bengaluru. The company will be selling smart home products from the store. It will be open for the general public on 20 May.

The store will host a bunch of products including Redmi and Mi smartphones, along with smart products like the Mi Air Purifier 2 and the Mi Band 2. It will also have accessories such as power banks.

"We make innovative yet affordable products. Our philosophy is not just to make solutions for classes. We make it for the masses," said Manu Jain, Vice President of Xiaomi in India.

Jain claimed that the stores won't ever be out of stock, but if that happened, the visiting customers would be given a code to buy the product online.

Xiaomi is planning to open more stores in other metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. It aims to have 100 Mi Home stores in next two years in India.

The company also claimed that its online platform Mi.com is one of the top five e-commerce websites in India.
