The Delhi Assembly saw high drama on Tuesday afternoon with the lone BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta being marshalled out of the assembly after a huge ruckus.

Gupta said, after being marshalled out, told the media, "Kerjiwal is involved with corruption along with his friend Satyendra Jain. On the outside he seems to be close to Manish Sisodia, but that is just to show the public."

"We demand that Satyendra Jain be removed. Even the chief minister is involved in taking money. There are seven cases against him," Gupta said.

"I wanted to discuss this issue in the assembly, but I was marshalled out. Do you not believe in democracy?" Gupta asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

This comes amid a controversy brewing in AAP, where suspended MLA Kapil Mishra has stirred up a hornet's nest by alleging corruption in the party.

Earlier in the day, in an open letter tweeted out by Mishra, addressed to Kejriwal, he sought the CM's blessings and said he would file an FIR against him today. Mishra had levelled serious graft charges against Kejriwal.

He was suspended by AAP on Monday after a meeting of the high-powered Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chaired by Kejriwal at his official residence.

Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal had said that they would raise the issue of tampering of EVMs in the special session of the assembly, and even present an expose.

India Today had reported that an engineer, Saurabh Bhardwaj had been given the responsibility of gathering proof against EVM tampering. The AAP even invited other parties like the TMC, JD(U), Samajwadi Party and CPI(M) to be present at the speaker's gallery.

Gupta told the media that the allegation over the EVMs and this expose was a hogwash to distract from the misdeeds by AAP leaders.
