The latest in the trouble brewing in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a dramatic (and stinging) open letter tweeted out by suspended AAP leader Kapil Mishra today, addressed to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whom he called his guru (mentor) in his anti-corruption crusade. Mishra, who had levelled serious graft charges against Kejriwal, sought the CM's blessings and said he would file an FIR against him today.

He was suspended by AAP yesterday after a meeting of the high-powered Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chaired by Kejriwal at his official residence.

Mishra even mocked Kejriwal for not expelling him. He told PTI yesterday, "they could not show enough courage." He had alleged that Kejriwal had taken Rs 2 crore in cash from Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain. Mishra was made to step down as water minister on 6 May. He said Kejriwal's brother-in-law made a Rs 50 crore deal.

"Dear Mr Arvind Kejriwal, today I am going to lodge an FIR against you... the guru who taught me how to fight against corruption and for truth. Today I am preparing to fight against my mentor...God is with me," he wrote in his letter today. "I am alone in this fight... I am sad, but it is no longer possible for me to keep quiet," he wrote in Hindi.

The activists of Delhi BJP's Youth Wing protested outside Kejriwal's residence today following Mishra's allegations of corruption.

Mishra even sought Kejriwal's blessings and forgiveness in his letter before heading over to CBI to file a complaint against him.
