Websites of several Indian universities, including Aligarh Muslim University, Delhi University and IIT Delhi and Varanasi, were hacked on Tuesday, with anti-India and anti-Army messages written by the hackers who call themselves "PHC"

The hackers posted on the websites saying, "Do you know what your so called hero's (soldiers) are doing in Kashmir ? Do you know they are killing many innocent people in Kashmirs ? Do you know they have raped many girls ? Do you know they still are raping girls in Kashmir ? How would you feel if your brother, sister, father and mother gets killed :( ? How would you feel if someone rapes your mother or sister; Won't your life and your families be destroyed ?"

"Kashmir will be Pakistan. What has the people in Kashmir done to India ? Why are your soldiers there even ?" the hackers wrote on the AMU website.

The Indian Express reported that around ten other government websites were hacked including that of CSIR-National AerospaceLaboratories.

Meanwhile ANI said that the websites had been restored.

The hacking of the websites, reports say, come in the aftermath of an alleged hacking by an Indian group of around thirty Pakistan government websites over the verdict of a Pakistan court on India Kulbhushan Jadhav.

"Nothing deleted, or stolen. Just here to deliver my message to the government and the people of India," the hackers said. They signed off with the hashtag #securityisjustanillusion.
