Remember how Mashal Khan was killed by an angry mob in Pakistan for alleged blasphemy? If the lynching and murder wasn't gruesome enough, a video has surfaced that shows a group of men, allegedly the ones who were involved in his murder, celebrate Khan's death. They are also allegedly taking an oath to not reveal the names of those who killed Khan.

In the video, posted on Dawn's YouTube channel, a group of men are seen clapping and cheering.

Dawn reported that they were heard as saying:

"Congratulations, congratulations!

Silence, silence!

Whoever shot him [Mashal], don't take his [the shooter's] name

Whoever takes his [shooter's] name will commit blasphemy. If you want to file an FIR, my name is Arif"

The Pakistani newspaper reported that this could be a threat from stopping people from testifying in the case.

The video of Khan's murder that was circulated earlier this month showed a mob beating him. It also showed his disrobed body, covered in blood, being dragged across a hallway of his college campus, and then through a road.

Khan, a journalism student at the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, was stripped, beaten and shot in the head and chest by a violent mob .

Another student, Abdullah, was beaten bloody before police managed to rescue him from the attackers.

While Khan was accused of publishing blasphemous content on Facebook, the police has found no evidence to prove these allegations.

PTI had quoted Inspector General of Police Salahuddin Khan Mehsud as saying, "We did not find any concrete evidence under which an investigation or legal action can be launched against Mashal, Abdullah or Zubair."

At least 15 people were arrested in connection with Khan's murder.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had strongly condemned the incident saying, "The state will never tolerate those who take the law in their own hands."
