Rajasthan government schools are teaching high school students that physical attributes such as complexion and good height are part of key traits that are desirable in entrepreneurs.
A chapter on 'Skill Development' in a Class XII textbook, contains a list of these attributes: "uttam swasthya, prabhavshali vyaktitva, acchi unchai, sundar rang, shaleenta, gambhirta (perfect health, impressive personality, good height, beautiful complexion, sobriety, seriousness), The Indian Expressreported.
Rajasthan government schools have recently made substantial changes to the curricula of secondary and senior secondary classes to include vast sections on government schemes that carry mainly marketing messages from Prime Minister Modi's and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's schemes such as budget announcements, Make in India initiative and Resurgent Rajasthan investment summit, said the report.
