WhatsApp is bringing a bunch of new features to different versions of the chat app. One notable feature, to be introduced to WhatsApp Web (which lets you send and receive messages from your computer), will let users 'unsend' a message within 5 minutes of sending it.

The Twitter account, WABetaInfo, tweeted that the feature was spotted in a beta version and would be rolled out soon.

In another change, WhatsApp might be rolling out a feature that will let users change their numbers within the app. Once the user changes her number, she can notify all or selected contacts about the switch. However, this change was noted on a Windows phone version. So, it is unclear when, if at all, will it be unveiled to other platforms.

WhatsApp now also allows changing the font through shortcuts with a long press. Select the desired text and long-press to bring the "Cut copy paste" menu. Click the three dots at the end to bring up another menu where you have options such as translate, share, bold, italics and strike-through.

WhatsApp, which is owned by Facebook, is also looking to enter the payment space in India with a UPI-based solution this year.
