Reliance Jio Extends The Prime Membership Registration Till 15 April

The company claims that 72 million customers have signed up for Prime membership.

Reliance Jio today announced that the registration for Prime Membership will be extended by 15 days. The last date for subscribing for it will be 15 April. The company had announced earlier that the user will have time till 31 March to register.

The company claimed that more than 72 million users have opted for the membership. Jio's prime membership has an annual registration fee of ₹99. The two important plans offered by the company are priced at ₹303 and ₹499 which offers the users free calls and 1 GB and 2 GB daily data respectively.

"In just one month, over 72 MILLION (and still counting!) Jio customers have signed up for JIO PRIME. We, at Jio, are honored and grateful for this tremendous response. I want to personally thank you for choosing Jio, and for being a founding member of the Jio movement. A movement to transform India. A movement to empower and enrich each one of you with the revolutionary power and possibilities of Digital Life," Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in a letter.

Jio also won another small battle today as Ad council asked Airtel to withdraw its ad claiming the title of the fastest network in India.
