Motorola is keeping both the major Indian e-commerce players happy with its tie ups. The phonemaker has announced that it is tying up exclusively with Amazon for the sale of the Moto G5 smartphone.

On 15 March, the phonemaker launched two variants of Moto G5 Plus, priced at ₹14,999 and ₹16,999, available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Moto G5 has a 5-inch full HD screen, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor powering it. Depending on the variant, the phone will have 2 or 3 GB RAM capacity, with 16 or 32 GB internal memory. The smartphone has a 2,800 mAh battery without any turbocharging, and it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The Moto G5 will run Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

"We understand the needs of our customers and design our products to give them a better mobile experience. The Moto G5 is a perfect blend of performance and entertainment, so customers don't have to compromise on either. We are glad to partner with Amazon.in to launch this and look forward to helping our customers have all they need in a smartphone," Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility Pvt. Ltd India, said in a statement.

The Moto G5 is expected to be priced between ₹10,000 and ₹12,000.
