Apple released the much awaited Red version the iPhone today, called the iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition. The phone, which marks Apple's partnership with the AIDS prevention organisation RED, will be available in India and other parts of the world from 24 March.
Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition will be available in 128 GB and 256 GB variants, at a starting price of ₹82,000. The phone has a red aluminum finish body and a white front surface. It will be a part of other Apple products in the RED category lineup, such as iPods, Beats Pill+ portable speaker, and accessories for iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch.
The Cupertino, California-based company also announced the new 9.7 inch iPad in its new lineup, replacing iPad Air. The iPad starts at ₹28,900 in India and has Apple's Retina display running on an A9 chip.
The new iPad will also be available from 24 March in silver, gold, and space grey colors. Apple also announced a storage upgrade at the existing price for the iPad 4. Here are the pricing details for different versions of the device:
9.7 inch iPad

iPad Mini 4
- 128 GB WiFi at ₹34,900

While the tablet market has been declining overall, iPad has a majority of the market share.
Apple also introduced a video making app called Clips on iPhone and iPad, with the aid of which users can add stickers, effects, and music to their multi-clip videos.
