A Lot Of People Are Baffled By Sasikala's Strange Hand Gesture At Jayalalithaa's Memorial

What was she doing?
ANI

While all eyes are on Sasikala a day after she was convicted by the Supreme Court in the disproportionate assets case, the AIADMK General Secretary calmly left the Poes Garden residence of J. Jayalalithaa in a car and headed to the memorial of the late Tamil Nadu CM at Chennai's Marina Beach to pay homage.

Dressed in a red sari, Sasikala paid floral tribute to her close friend and political mentor. But one gesture of hers baffled those who watched video clippings of her at the memorial. Sasikala is seen aggressively slapping her palm down on the slab of the samadhi as people gathered around her look on.

Here, take a look.

So obviously, a lot of people are wondering what she's doing.

With some acerbic jokes thrown in. Of course.

@the_hindu she behave like angribird..hehehe

The News Minute, quoting the official AIADMK Twitter handle, said that the bizarre hand gesture was part of an oath she took at the memorial to "redeem myself from conspiracy, betrayal, and difficulty."

She allegedly also vowed to destroy acting chief minister O Panneerselvam, the TNM report said.

She then headed for Bengaluru from Chennai after the Supreme Court rejected her plea seeking more time to surrender.
