This is no April fool's joke. Bars at Gurgaon's popular drinking spot CyberHub will likely lose their liquor license beginning 1 April. This is after the Haryana government interpreted a Supreme Court order asking states and union territories to ensure there is no sale of liquor within a radius of 500 metres of national and state highways.

This order will apply to 186 restaurants and liquor vendors in Gurgaon by the Haryana government, unless the apex court clarifies otherwise. This includes 34 bars in CyberHub.
