Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has kicked up a storm, both offline and online.

After the director was slapped in Jaipur by members of the Rajput Karni Sena (they believe the film depicts Queen Padmavati in a negative light), the crew packed off from Rajasthan while the cast issued a statement.

Padukone, who plays Queen Padmavati, tweeted:

She was trolled by one Nishant Jain who said there was 'more to come' if she didn't 'mend her ways.'

Rishi Kapoor noticed the sinister sounding tweet and decided to shut the troll up in the way he deserved to.

He tweeted saying:

Meanwhile, the Padmavati shoot has been cancelled and the unit has returned to Mumbai. It is unclear where the crew will be shooting for the film that is set to release in November 2017.
