KANPUR -- Kanpur police have filed a case against a family, including their 2-year-old child, for disturbing their peace and functioning.

The police declared the toddler as a 20 year old and then filed a charge against her.

Baba Rajput, a native of Ganeshpur village, has been in a constant state of fear ever since the Sanigawan Chowki issued a challan against him and his family for disturbing the peace and order.

Their 2-year-old daughter, Radha Rajput, was listed as a 20 year old in police records.

The family was reportedly engaged in a brawl over property, when the challan was issued.

Baba Rajput said he has appealed to the court against the police officer who had filed the charge.
