Swami Om, a controversial participant in the 10th season of the reality television show Bigg Boss, has landed in trouble again, as a case has been filed against him for "promoting obscenity and hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus" in a court in Uttar Pradesh.

According to an article in the Hindustan Times, Anil Dwivedi who is a lawyer by profession, has filed a complaint against Swami Om, and has also claimed that the CEO of Colors television channel and Bigg Boss host and actor Salman Khan are "party to Swami's indecent behaviour."

The self-proclaimed swami was among the more controversial figures to be featured in the show this season, and was evacuated from the 'Bigg Boss house' after he urinated on fellow participants.

In his complaint, Dwivedi has said that Swami Om has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.

His complaint reads:

"He (Swami Om) was shown consuming meat while wearing that dress, thus demeaning the importance of saints in the Hindu religion."

The Chief Judicial Magistrate of the Bareilly court has set 13 February as the date for hearing the case.

In a Big Boss episode earlier this month, Swami Om had called Khan an "ISI agent, anti-national" and had promised to break his bones.
