An unsettling mystery has agitated the residents of the upscale Belvedere Tower Condominium in Gurugram. Simply put, someone is flinging poop from Tower A.
And this isn't the first time either. According to a notice issued by the Belvedere Tower Condominium Association on 13 Jan, the poop throwing happened for the first time on 11 Jan and after a brief hiatus resumed two days later.
The notice also informed the residents that the association was investigating into this "disgusting" act and asked them to help in identifying the culprit.
A resident who spoke to HuffPost India confirmed the incident. "People here are generally sweet and don't bother one another. Had this been a one-time thing, no one would have cared," she said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
Office bearers of the association could not be reached despite repeated attempts.
The National Green Tribunal had recently ordered that planes that empty their toilets during flights would have to pay a fine, after reports of shit raining down on Delhi rooftops.
Since the matter has raised a stink, we hope the association gets to the bottom of the matter sooner than later.
