Rahul Gandhi Showed His Torn Kurta At A Rally In Rishikesh And Here's How Twitter Reacted

"Mera kurta phata hua hai, lekin Modiji ka kurta kabhi phata hua nahi milta."

On Monday, while showing his own torn kurta, Congress vice-president, Rahul Gandhi commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's clothes when addressing the audience from the stage in Rishikesh, Uttrakhand.

Gandhi continued his attack on Modi and took a dig at RSS during his speech.

While slamming Modi for many other things, Gandhi stopped his speech midway and showed the torn pocket of his white kurta to the crowd. His antics with the kurta earned him a roaring response from the crowd.

Gandhi said, "Mera kurta phata hua hai, lekin Modiji ka kurta kabhi phata hua nahi milta. Bade paisewaalo ke saath unki photo milegi" (I wear a torn kurta but you'll never see Modiji in a torn kurta. You'll only find his photographs with the rich people of the world.)

He went on to add, "I am doing politics for the poor. Modiji's photo appears with the super rich."
