Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman is all set to appear in the new season of MTV Unplugged.
For a reworked version of his hit track UrvashI Urvashi, the composer decided to crowdsource the lyrics.
Thousands of suggestions poured in on Rahman's Facebook page and he decided to shortlist a few before recording the revised track.
Among the many that came was this gem.
The recorded version of the song was uploaded on MTV India's Facebook page just over an hour ago.
It's quite a stunning rendition of the classic track from the 1994 Tamil film Kadhalan, with a meticulous arrangement and a set of incredibly talented percussionists.
Given the current circumstances, we kind of agree with Rahman's message for the US President-Elect who's all set to take office on January 20.
