Earlier today, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took another dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, slamming him for using his mother to score political points.

Modi had taken to Twitter this morning to tell everyone about the quality time he spent with his mother.

Modi tweeted:

"Skipped Yoga & went to meet mother. Before dawn had breakfast with her. Was great spending time together."

Kejriwal later posted a couple of tweets slamming the PM while reminding him that Hindu religion and Indian traditions ask us to live with our elderly mother and wife. He also asked the PM to have a big heart and be compassionate.

He wrote:

The CM followed up with another tweet, slamming PM Modi for using his mother for political gains while obliquely taking a dig at his demonetisation drive.

Kejriwal was referring to the time when Modi's 96-year-old mother Heeraben Modi had queued up to exchange her old notes in Gandhinagar.

And social media reacted to Kejriwal's tweets.

Last year, Kejriwal's tweet to Modi had severely backfired and the CM had been reduced to a meme.
