From PM Modi To President Mukherjee, Condolences Pour In For Amma

Political leaders cut across party lines to condole her death.

After a prolonged battle with illness and suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Sunday evening, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa breathed her last on Monday at 11:30 PM.

Her supporters waited and prayed anxiously the entire day on Monday waiting for news about her health. Rumours had surfaced about her passing in the evening with violence breaking out outside the Apollo Hospital in Chennai where she was admitted.

While there was a sea of her supporters praying for her, condolences began to pour in after her death cutting across party lines.
