Nabha Jailbreak: KLF Chief Harminder Singh Mintoo Caught By Delhi Police

Men dressed in police uniforms had helped Mintoo and 5 others run away from the high-security jail on Sunday.

NEW DELHI -- The Delhi Police on Monday arrested Khalistani terrorist Harminder Singh Mintoo who had escaped from Punjab's Nabha jail yesterday.

One of the accused of the Nabha jailbreak was arrested by the Shamli Police yesterday and huge cache of arms was also seized from his Fortuner car in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli.

A group of armed men in police uniform broke into high security Nabha Central jail of Punjab yesterday and took along six inmates including Mintoo.

The Punjab Government has suspended the Director General (Jails) and dismissed the Nabha Jail superintendent and deputy jail superintendent and set up a special task force to look into the Nabha jailbreak incident.
